The DC was a 21 (or 23, since Leonis has a -2 to the save). Unfortunately, that means he blows the first one and that gives him enough of an overall penalty (since additional failures do) to fail the second one too, putting Leonis at 5 insanity pts.

Things are about to get very interesting.

To be precise, they get harder as you accumulate enough insanity points.

That was always the case, but on the first few checks none of the PCs had accumulated enough insanity points for it to matter. So I hadn't mentioned it, since I wanted the players to discover more about the effects just as the PCs did.
